Hi all !!

Sometimes my car's climate control will go on when starting the engine , even when it was previously shut down . Does not happen every time, but it's annoying all the same... I don't suppose this is normal , or is it?

Can't say I've had the same thing happen myself. The stereo head unit sometimes does it but not the CC

Ah ay!!!!! :o B) i take it it needs regassing or something??

Or something - It could be a couple of different things. Re Gassing might be the obvious one - it's worth looking at getting it checked out by someone that knows about Air Con ( So no Fraud Dealers)

An update on this matter... After a carefull reading of the manual :

The default setting for the system is ON. Manual says it should be turned off , only when there's a fault.

Once you 've turned CC off , will (of course) stay off for as long as the engine is running.

When key is removed , your "OFF" setting will be saved for up to two hours (air recycling setting for up to twenty mins.).

After this time , the CC wil turn itself on upon starting the car.

Yup, that's how it works on mine.

Cheers.

Oggy.
