muffking Posted March 25, 2006 Report Posted March 25, 2006 I can't make head nor tail of the service schedule book as it doesn't include the 2.3 DOHC engine. I can see that I should have mine serviced annually (although it doesn't state an alternative mileage), and the major service should be every 3rd year, but does anyone know when the cam belt or anything else not in the normal service should be changed? sahar Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 Hi, I've recently had my galaxy serviced after buying it about 10 days ago, it has 13000 miles on it and the previous owner only serviced it ONCE 3 years ago at about 3,500 miles! Anyway, mine is a DOHC engine as well and from what I know it is a chain driven one. Service intervals I'm told by Ford garage is 10,000 miles or every year whichever is sooner, its an annual service each year but every third year is a "Major service". I paid Quote
