Hi Lads & Lassies,

We're well balanced Galaxy owners (me as well for 7 more days). A good web site with a blend of serious technical stuff and funny threads

But check this link which is - on the Volvo XC90 Unofficial Owner's web site - a pan-EU / North American nightmare

THE BBQ THREAD

Best wishes & any thoughts?

PS. Please, please, please don't anyone give 'peegree' our web address

:( The web site administrator decided to close the thread down

So the nutter has moved to another thread and hijacked it :(

If you want to follow the latest rants (it gets better and better) then you now need to look at the thread entitled:

Have I made a mistake buying my XC90

Move carefully and don't emerge from the bushes otherwise Peegee may spot one of us and come and hassle us on this site!

Not when........but if

Collect XC90 tomorrow. Got a tad emotional between me and the Galaxy as I looked back tonight after getting home.

Frankly, the car looks great but I'm not sure about the owners' site. Think I might stay here  Better crowd.

Regards

PS What a farce with those photographs of the burnt out XC90 that really were a Cayenne - are we dumb or what? Even the link address said Cayenne.

Peegee (or someone masquerading as Peegee) has finally announced the posting of his burned out XC90.

Now I'm no expert but I'm not sure that JPEG looks genuine

The mature and serious level of debate on the Volvo site is most stimulating and bodes well for the 'joined-up' EU project as we all live happily ever after, not.

Best wishes.

Oh My God!! Blatters did you see BBC TV Watchdog tonight? There was an article on the Volvo XC90 where 3 Diesels had mysteriously caught fire in three months and all three were poo pooed by Volvo UK as unrelated.

Seems like your mate PeeGee may not be so nuts after all!! :D

Fippin hec :D

Email has gone straight to my dealer tonight.

I'll let you know!

I still think Peegee is a nutter - that JPEG ain't the work of a normal guy :D

Typical, I part with my hard earned cash and, four days later, the whole nation thinks the XC90 is a furnace on wheels - bang goes my residuals!

Now then, I have a tip for the 3:10 at Doncaster, anyone interested?

Thanks GalaxyKid (I think),

I've already spotted that info from a google search which hot-linked me to the Volvo owners club page.

Link has been sent to my dealer.

Risk management strategy now in action - garden sprinkler system now operating over the Volvo 24/7 :D
