Grumpy Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 I always think its misleading not to quote the full price, if you have to pay a total of Quote
Ex-Vec Posted March 23, 2006 Author Report Posted March 23, 2006 Misleading??? If you think it's "Misleading" or too pricey move on, or email the ebayer and see if he's concerned. Firstly; I said the price was Quote
Grumpy Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 No offence taken, and my intention was not to offend you. However your thread was/is titled "Upgrade your Vcr To DVD For Quote

muffking Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Getting back onto the subject of burying it, I'd love to see pics of how you end up fitting it. Quote
Davetheref Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Are you going to use in addition to the vcr or instead of it ? Just wondering Quote
Ex-Vec Posted March 24, 2006 Author Report Posted March 24, 2006 It's going to be in addition to the VCR. Though I may actually not install it. lol. I have a JVC AVX1 I took out of my Vectra, so going to give it a go installing that. I rushed the DVD purchase before I found that the HU replaces quite easily. Ford / ISO (autoleads Pc2-08-4 ??) and Blanking plate thing. Do I need the aerial adapter thingy, with built in lead ??http://common.ziffdavisinternet.com/util_get_image/11/0,1425,i=116628,00.jpgWith that, it has a DAB unit add-on and has screen outputs as well as Vid inputs so can run a TV unit in to it. If it all goes to plan, should be the dogs danglies, but I'm not gonna get rid of the DVD player incase it doesn't work. Quote
Guest galaxykid Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Do I need the aerial adapter thingy, with built in lead ?? Yes you do  Quote
Marky Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 I just fitted that JVC in the wifes car...superb bit of kit!You will need the aerial adapter, this needs a power supply to it, best totake it from the blue 'remote power' lead from the back of the jvc. This will only supply power when the HU is on....have fun!
