Guest tristan Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 it anoys the hell out of me dont know how to get flashing indicators when locking remotley !! it has factory alarm and imb !!!on a 2.8 v6 any clues !!!! Quote
Grumpy Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 It would be nice, mine flashes when you unlock but not when you lock, as the central locking is fairly quiet I often find I have to check a door handle to confirm its locked. Quote
mumof4 Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 ours flash on lock and unlock..think its 2 for lock and 1 for unlock..(ive prob got it the wrong way round) Quote
Goofygolfer Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 i thought if there was no flash it meant a door was not shut properly or a duff door switch????????? Quote
sanjsanj Posted May 26, 2006 Report Posted May 26, 2006 i thought if there was no flash it meant a door was not shut properly or a duff door switch????????? urm on my 96 sharan (doesnt have remote locking), if you lock it and any door is left opened, the red flashing LED blinks at 1 sec intervals i.e OOOOOOOOOOOOON,off, OOOOOOOOOOOOON, offcompared to the usual OOOOOOOOOOOOOFF, on, OOOOOOOOOOOOFF, on. But when i lock the gal, (its gota remote this time), even if one or all of the door are open, the indicators flash the standard one time and the red LED flashes OOOOOOOOOOOOOFF, on, OOOOOOOOOOOOFF, on (shouldn't it flash OOOOOOOOOOOOON,off, OOOOOOOOOOOOON, off because the doors are open?) Should it be like this? Quote
NikpV Posted May 27, 2006 Report Posted May 27, 2006 I thought that this was programmable - using vag-com/wds2000 someone with vag-com may be able to tell you Quote
NikpV Posted May 27, 2006 Report Posted May 27, 2006 Out of interest was the car a import - some countries don't allow the indicators to flash when setting alarm etc - if not, have they ever flashed? As goofgolfer says a duff switch but in this case I think that they should still flash on unlock see the following thread.GRUMPY look here duff bonnet switch Quote
Bigjeeze Posted May 27, 2006 Report Posted May 27, 2006 My lights flash on opening and closing - but I still look through the window anyway to check!!. :20: Quote
