7up Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 Please help has anyone had this problem that I am just experiencing. Which is after returning on a long journey with my caravan in tow, I started to experience a rumbling noise between 50-60 mph, which disappears when you come off of the accelerator pedal and then when re-accelerating the noise returns again. I do not know if something has broken and this is causing the exhaust to make contact and send a vibration under the floor pan or maybe the engine mount has broken or whether or not it is something else. It still makes this noise without the caravan on the back. So does anyone know or have any ideas please. Thanks. Quote
chromedome Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Check the engine roll restrictor. Grab hold of the engine and see if the engine rocks backwards and forwards. Common fault and not that expensive. Quote
