Window Switch Closes Sunroof

My 95 GLX has a problem where neither of the electric window controls on the drivers door work. The one for the drivers window closes the sun roof and the one for the passenger window does nothing.

The switch on passenger side door opens and closes that window OK.

 

Does anybody got any ideas as to what needs to be done to get the windows opening again from the drivers door

Thanks for the help. I have tried to open and close via the key, and drivers door window does not move. I have tried a different switch (Friend has a Sharon) and my switch worked in his car, and his switch in mine had the same problem.

 

Have also taken the door panel off, and can here that the motor is making a noise when the switch is pressed, but the window does not move.

 

Have you got any ideas

As fred has said the loom from the A post to the door,my galaxy did the same thing recently and several wires had snapped a quick solder jobby and all was well.
