bigdaddy Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 If you had an air lock,,, then i would expect the booster heater not to fire up,,,,,I think you may have a temp sensor problem as well  Quote
norwichbluenose Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 I am about to bite the bullet and change my glow plug as well. can you do it without draining the coolant as stated in the tis manual. Quote
Jeff115 Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 There's no need to drain coolant/disconnect coolant pipes to change to booster glow plug. Follow Ivor's pictorial hereChange booster glow plug Regards,Jeff. Quote

Jeff115 Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 Hi BigD- sorry that you had a bad day - what's ph34r:? SUMMERFIELD,If you suspect an air lock in the coolant pipes to the Auxillary and Booster heaters why not bleed the coolant circuit by raising the front of the car, see Bleed coolant circuit incl. pipes to Aux and Booster heater Regards,Jeff.
