tomy Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 The drivers door speaker doesnt work , I have tried the swaped the two front door speakers over just to test them and the speakers both work on the passenger side wiring but not when connected to the drivers door wiring , the loom looks ok going into the car by the front door pillar and the wiring looks ok at the stereo is there anyother plugs in between ????? or where else should I look ???? Quote
oscargps9 Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 have you tried swapping the wiring around on the rear of the head unit. You may find a resistor in the radio has blown and there's nothing wrong with your speakers ie if front left and rear left work connect that output to others two - front right and rear right - rather than swap speakers over. tomy Posted March 11, 2006 Author Report Posted March 11, 2006 The radio I have used is the original ford one now I have a sony one and that is the same the front dash speakers both work and looking at the tis cd they are fed via the same feed so I am thinking there must be a wiring connector under the dash somewhere.
