Does anyone know if there are any non Ford replacement radios that will also work with the steering controls, or will i have to use a replacement Ford unit for my now defunct 2007.

Also if I have to go down that route, is it a straight replacement for the 6000 unit if i remove the tray underneath?

Cheers,

Steve

Not sure on the availability of non OE head units that are compatible with the standard remote controls, one of our resident ICE experts will be later and will answer that question, if not Steve will as for dropping a 6000 unit, yes it will fit but it wont fill the hole completely and you will need a .5 din blanking plate to fill the gap
