mike99 Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 Is it Possible for me to program a transponder key to my 99 galaxy tdi using Vag com? I don't have a security code for the car, don't know if its needed or not?? Has any one got vag com in the north wales area who fancies having a go? I also need the booster heater reset - could be some money in it for someone!! :D Thanks,Mike. Quote

You get that by using VAG-COM to read the immobilizer serial number and requesting a code from your dealer, and they will fight you tooth and nail, but they must provide it. You will need the V5, proof of who you are etc. Or you may be lucky and find the four digit code on the vehicle documents from when it was delivered new if you have them. The code was sometime supplied with the keys on a little tag. And the code may be 5 digits, but starting with a 0xxxx Quote
Guest T120 Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 Mike99You will probley have to go to the Fraud dealer to have your heater reset, if your car was a VW or Seat then you might be ok and get the Vag Com to reset it.I live in Cheshire and have a Vag Com. Quote

The only thing Ford on his car is the badges. VAG-COM will fully work with his car, although mine, and other peoples, will not communicate with the aux heater. Quote
