Guest legacy4cam Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 Help required. I have had the booster heater replaced right at the end of the Warranty on my 53 plate Galaxy. Unsurprisingly it still refuses to work. Is there anyone on the forum who can tell me exactly which fuses to check, or better still anyone near me with VAG Com to help with diagnosis. When the car first returned the fan definately spinning, but the heater was not igniting, I think, so I think a reset is all I require. Can it be reset by disconnecting the battery overnight or such like? Quote
Masked Marauder Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 Where are you located? Quote
bigdaddy Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 If it was done by Ford under warranty,,,,,take it back and get them to reset it for free B) Quote
Guest legacy4cam Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 Sorry, located in lanark, central Scotland. Warranty now expired due to mileage and Non franchised service history. Argued the case about the heater being a non -serviceable item, usual nonsense from Dealer about Dealer history being crucial etc etc.... Any guidance on which fuses the booster uses? Quote
Guest legacy4cam Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 Also , where is the coolant temp sensor for the booster?? I am on a mission to repair the booster, I may have a problem. Quote
