GSMGuy Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 MArtin, not sure if yours has a boost pressure control vale, as it's a conventional turbo, whereas my old 115 had one as it was variable geometry. On yours I think a traditional wastegate assy controls boost.. Oh, and when I had a simialr prob on mine, Fraud diagnosed the valve as at fault.. So I bought and fitted it.... Quote
marinabrid Posted February 24, 2006 Author Report Posted February 24, 2006 HI TO ARE YOU MEANING THE TURBO BOOST VALVE ? ON THE BULKHEAD NEXT TO TYHE EGR SOLENOID ? MINES A SQURE SHAPE ONE WITH 1 PIPE IN ONE END AND 2 TO THE TURBO ONM THE OTHER. Quote
Scorpiorefugee Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 You've probably been down the MAF route but I had similar symptoms and whipped mine out, gave it a good swilling with carb cleaner and it made things much better. Sadly, can't comment on if it's as it should be 'cos mine had 140K when I bought it. Ron. Quote
