Hi, I am in the process of trying to find the 'right' Galaxy.

 

Wife insists on black with leather..

 

I have a question though...as so many on the FordDirect vehicles ( my probable source ) have Journey Pack 2 with Sat nav....is the Sat Nav any good???

 

I have Tom Tom on a Palm Tungsten which is great. Is the Ford version upgradable? ie poi's etc?

 

From other post I assume my TomTom receiver should be ok on the dash with the screen heater.

 

Great site guys I have been browsing and picked up a lot of info.

Yes it is .... I used a PDA with TomTom 5 which was good in my Mondeo.....The Ford System is much more accurate and much smoother. Although the destination input is slower using the rotary knob and the latest version of the DVD was

I have a Ford Direct supplied Galaxy that I bought 12 months ago. At the time, the car was 6 months old.

 

I am finalising my "negotiations" with Ford, with the aide of What Car, concerning some sub standard paint repair work done on the car prior to me owning it. I will post full details in a new thread once matters have been finalised.

 

Whilst the 2 year unlimited mileage warranty sounds good, I have to say that I would think twice before paying the premium Ford Direct prices again, as I am not convinced that the cars are any better than those available elsewhere.
