Guest micb Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006  Has anyone experienced the dreaded ABS light when after start up (warning lights illuminate then go off) after approx 30 secs,ABS comes on as long as engine is running .Have been told by ford it is not a wheel sensor fault or low fluid level.Either a connection or main unit failure Quote
mumof4 Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 do a search as the abs light has been covered in many a topic  do you get the STOP now illumination aswell? Quote
Guest micb Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006  Reply to 'mum of 4' I have not seen STOP light yet - its a 98 model-early version so maybe it does not have one! thanks for the answer. Quote
Guest kimbo Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 We have had the ABS light on for the last year! We have been told that the sensors are probably at fault as we had changed brake pads or something a few months before. We are told that they do wear out and maybe the wires get damaged.
