briggd01 Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 Does any body know the part number of the CD Changer that is compatible with the SAT NAV MFD Unit as i had a 6000 CD Unit with CD Changer and that Changer's plug to connect to the head Unit is different. So i purchased the coorect loom to run from the Head Unit to the Changer and now that Plug is different so i need to purchase a new changer  So does anybody know the correct part number or where i can get one from? They seem to be pretty far between on eBay. Help appreciated! ;) Quote

steve67car Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 has the new lead got a small blue block on one end (head unit end) :) :) Quote
Marky Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 Brigg You need the VW changer AND lead as the MFD is a Blaupunkt unit madefor VW...I got round it by purchasing a Connects 2 Cd interface (50 quidfrom Halfords) and I had a Sony T69 six disc changer and lead from thedoris's old car and used this. There are two different types of adapters, one that plugs directly into the head unit then you plug the sony lead into it, andthe second sits on the end of the VW lead then plugs into the changer, If yougo doen this route it is the first one that you need, this will save you some money as you won't need to buy a vw lead (about 20 quid). The Sony changersare about 120 quid so you'd be looking at 170ish all in. It might be worthchecking out your local Halfords cos I think they'd probably fit it for you as well! Quote
