Mfd Wrong Disc Inserted

Hi There

 

I hve had the MFD working fine for 6 weeks now it has developed a blue warning screen claiming that I need to insert a Ford compatiable CD.

Now this is a unit that I bought off ebay and it has been working fine untill last week.

 

After I drive the vehicle for about 15-20 min it will start to work fine and wont do it untill the next morning.

The CD looks genuine enough but with the technology to copy things who knows the MFD is a 2005 version G.

Has any one out ther had the same problem??

Could it be condensation on the disc / head?

Hi John...Have you tried another copy of the nav disc? They can be a bit

fussy as to the type/quality of the CDR used for your backup of the

original you don't want to ruin ( :rolleyes: )
