Guest vr6galaxy Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 The fuel pump is mounted in the tank, to get to you will need top remove the middle row of seats and lift the carpet behind the drivers seat, under there is a inspection plate, remove this and there's the fuel tank :o now put out the cigarette :D unplug the cable and unclip the pipes, remembering which one goes where! now the large locking ring on top of the tank, undo it and lift it out the way,now carefully lift the cap it was holding in place! if you look into the hole :D you can now see the pump and sender unit? push it down and twist it anti clock wise and it should unclip? if it does? then carefully lift it out clean or replace as required? are you sure it's the pump that failed and the filters not just blocked and causeing the pump to strain!
