Loss Of Power

[Guest pauls dead galaxy]

hi there can any one help me with my galaxy 2.0 petrol n reg started losing power revs started to drop and can hear a wirring sound from the back end of the car sounds like its coming from the petrol tank when you first turn the key it wirs for about 3 seconds then the whirring sound stops once car is started it wirs contieuously ive checked for pipes off found one did nt change anything that i could tell where is maf situated as other posts recomend checking this any clues post back please thanks from paul

Its under your bonnet on left hand side...black thingy.mind you...dont think that would cause your car not to start.Check your main fuse feed box,(fave of mine)

Its a wee black box that has a thick black cable going into it.

the others will be along soon enough with more technical jargon than you can shake a stick at!! ;)
