gazza007 Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 I'm off in my Alhambra to France for a family holiday this weekend.I bought some light dflectors from Halfords but it doesn't mention year 2000 model onwards in the fitting diagram. Is it OK to use the Galaxy or Sharan 2000 recomendation? Quote

I bought some Metro ones....they recommend you switch your dipped beam on and hold the deflector until the beam (shone against a wall or similar) is dimmed. I did this, but never actaully used headlights all week in France...! By the way, the adhesive is a real bastard to get off the plastic lenses.. Quote
handy andy Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 I have heard stories the glue becoming permanently bonded to the headlights, so I decided to go for a set of Galaxy headlight protectors. These actually come with a set of black headlamp masks for continental driving. There is also an indication on the protector where these should be fitted.They were Quote
