Galaxy Man Posted January 30, 2006 Report Posted January 30, 2006 Can anyone help me regarding my fuse box? I have attached a picture of it. The problem is that it does not match the information provided in the car manual, so I have got no idea what fuse does what. Can anyone provide a list with what fuse does what? Thanks in advance. Galaxy Man Posted January 30, 2006 Author Report Posted January 30, 2006 Does it not tell you what each fuse job is on the fuse cover,,,,,mine does Yes it shows a picture of what each one does but I wanted something that listed the fuse rating alongside the fuse number. Quote
MrT Posted January 30, 2006 Report Posted January 30, 2006 The ratings in the manual should be correct, just the positions seem to vary. Quote
mumof4 Posted January 30, 2006 Report Posted January 30, 2006 Judging by your picture of your fuse box and what ours looks like...we might have some missing!!we got gaps in ours where there is no fuse,,should every gap be filled? Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted January 30, 2006 Report Posted January 30, 2006 should every gap be filled? Nope  it all depends on the spec and what options you have? Quote

Can anyone attach a picture so that we can compare? The problem is that with the description of the fuses in the handbook I don't know exactly what all the pictures mean. Quote
Masked Marauder Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Mine does not match the handbook or the fuse box guide. I have a 1998 Alhambra and the fuse layout looks the same as mine, quite different from the 1997 models. Quote

Maggot Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 I have been looking for this info (without buying Haynes manual!) as the diagram has been removed from inside the fuse cover on my wagon, so hopefully this applies to a 2002 Sharan as well. Quote
allan thompson Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 I'm suffering from the same problem - I've a 1997 2.3 GLX auto with fuses 1-26 vertical, 27 - 34 beneath them arranged horizontally and 51 - 62 in top left (smaller blade fuses). The handbook describes another fuse box altogether. Anyone got a lsit I can look - I can't download the pics at the moment! Quote
