midhertsgalaxy Posted January 29, 2006 Report Posted January 29, 2006 I have a 2001 galaxy 2.3 petrol, and recently overfilled the washer bottle. No great problem, but there was no room for any "anti freezing" solution. Thus, you've guessed it, one freezing night later, and the bottle has obviously frozen, cracked and its contents are now dripping over the drive I have looked under the bonnet and can only see the top of the bottle. it looks well buried under the battery. In the absence of a Haynes Manual or a cheap local garage, has anyone attempted to replace a washer bottle and have you got any advice for a part time DIY er Thanks Mid Herts galaxy Quote

Guest vr6galaxy Posted January 29, 2006 Report Posted January 29, 2006 It is very visable via the wheel arch but from looking at the diagrams it seems all the fixings for it are either behind the bumper or under the head light  Quote
