Hi i probably have an older Galaxy to most of you but here goes, in freezing/icy weather my central locking plays up and my front doors wont shut (ie the door locks dont allow me to shut my doors fully) and the central locking doesnt lock or unlock until the weater warms up. Can anyone give me an idea what it could be and whether its repairable at home?? I have an N reg 2.0L petrol Galaxy.

Thanks

Check the usual places for damp/moisture, any shorting between cables in the door looms on the A and B post etc, under the passenger seat, then try relubeing the locks and locking mechs using a good water repellent lubricant apart from that check the operation of the internal lock pulls? these can stick and cause a few problems! good luck in your hunt for a cure <_<
