Galaxy That Died At 70mph

My 2004 galaxy 1.9tdi died at 70mph in the outside lane today luckly enough near my local ford dealership. Once stopped I was unable to restart it it would turn over fine but woudnt fire, the dealership where good enough to come out and investigate with their box of tricks but after this it still wouldnt start. the car was towed back to the dealership where by lunch time I reiceved a call to imform me that the turbo had failed? Now I have owned many turbo charged RS cars before and I still fail to se how a u/s turbo will stop my galaxy from starting????? Can anybody shed any light on this problem???

P.S Phew its still under warrenty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
