Guest curly Posted August 17, 2003 Report Posted August 17, 2003  Hi Can anyone give me a clue as to the torque settings for the rear wheel bearings of my Ka 3? I understand these have to be removed to get the rear drums off!

seatkid Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 According to Ford TIS - 235NmOnce tightened, the hub retaining nut must not be disturbed. If the torque setting requires to be checked the nut must be loosened two full turns and re-tightened. Note: Rotate the hub while tightening the hub retaining nut.
Guest syzmix Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 to remove the rear hubs you do not remove the wheel nut. just remove the 4 bolts on the back plate (15-17mm i think, can't remember) make sure your'e hand brake's off then just pull the hub off. fitting is reverse off removal.
