I have searched through the forums and cannot find any mention anywhere..

Anyway the illumination on the heater controls doesn't work . The aircon light and air recycler lights work just the actual dial illumination is off.

Is this likely to be a case of removing the unit and checking that no wires have fallen off. If so how do I remove the unit

many thanks

There is a bulb behind the trim and a light ring that feed all the controls, pop the cover off around the knobs and you will be able to see it, it's then a case of popping out the possibly duff bulb and replaceing it

You dont have to remove it to change the bulb! it's accessable via the front of the dash :o you have to remove the section around the control knobs and then the light ring, if it hasnt already fallen out  then pull the bulb out

easy when you know how :o

It was so obvious, nevermind thanks for your help vr6

Next time I will check the instructions and then go to the car BEFORE asking a second one.

Off to get another bulb tomorrow  Just have to see which dealer is cheaper Vdub or Fraud
