gregers1 Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 whats the temp gauge telling you?it might need the thermostat replacing Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Try changing the thermostat and see if that helps? also check that the cooling fans are not running constantly? use a decent replacement stat not a cheapo one <_< as found by another member that they dont always work! Quote
marty16610 Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 As stated above, get a stat from the dealer. I had loads of grief with 3rd party stats, their not worth saving a few Quote
Guest Rooonga Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 I have the same car with the same problem. My local spares shop tells me it's the Thermostat so I bought a new one thinking I could change it in about 5 mins (Like most other Fords) Big mistake! I can't even find it's location. Can anyone tell me where I can find it please? I will be buying the manual Monday or Tuesday - but have to help my sister move later today/tomorrow. If I get time I'll have a look in the morning. (Assuming some kind peeps here will tell me it'e location.) Many thanks in advance Rooonga Quote
