Guest SA Intruder Posted August 13, 2003 Report Posted August 13, 2003 It flashes if the coolant level is too low, or overheating. One assumes that since the engine has just started, that it isn't overheating... You have checked the coolant level? Coolant expands as it is heated. As soon as the expansion reaches a certain point, the light goes off? Quote
Guest Lutz Posted August 14, 2003 Report Posted August 14, 2003 Yes, I had the same problem last summer. Fill up the coolant, Problem solved. Regards from GermanyLutz Quote
suzuki91 Posted August 15, 2003 Author Report Posted August 15, 2003 had a look at the level, seemed to be full. put in a teacup of water. see how that goes. Quote
suzuki91 Posted August 15, 2003 Author Report Posted August 15, 2003 nope, it is still on. maybe its because too much water??? any other ideas. Quote
suzuki91 Posted August 17, 2003 Author Report Posted August 17, 2003 now has gone off for the time being, hope its fixed. must be very sensitive to water level? Quote
Guest SA Intruder Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 Coolant level sensor is knacked then, or its wiring/connector. Quote
