paulmpaciorek Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 Hello Folks. Can anyone tell me where the Outside Temperature Sensor is. I think mine is playing up.....its saying 11degrees but I know its not that warm ....plus it was saying 10 degrees and it fired the aux heater up...that bloody thing only comes on when it likes :P Paul Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 IIRCthe sensor for the aux heater is clipped onto the metal work under the wiper mech/scuttle area, IIRC Mm or Sk posted a picture of it? <_< Quote
Ogben Schmutzel Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 And if my understanding is correct the temperature that is displayed in the cab is the temperuture which is measured by a sensor at the front somewhere by the bumper. The aux heater temp sensor is on the wiper assembly and as it is in a different location it will be at a different temperature. Thus you cannot rely that the temperature that is displayed in the cab is what is being measured by the aux heater temp sensor and thus controlling it switching on. <_< Oggy. Quote
GSMGuy Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 Oggy is right, the one adjacent to the NS foglight is for the interior temp display, the one on the wiper arm is for the aux heater. Mike Quote
