As it says in the title - the time is nigh for me to stump up some dosh and get a galaxy in readynes for me trip to Germany to watch England win...

Buying a diesel and wondered is the 130 that much better than the 115.

I want an auto anyway so drag strip performance int what I'm after.

Ideas anyone?

If you want an auto then I think you will have to have the 115. I don't think the 130 is available as an auto, but I could be wrong.

They both have the same amount of torque btw, the BHP just changes the rev range it is available over.

Definately 115 if auto is a requirement, if I remember correctly hasn't there been some posts re smoother running of 115 ?

dunno - but i find the 115 has enough power to get about.

would like something more powerful tho, i would have a V6, but the costs are very off putting.

I find the 115 more than enough, my previous cars have all be 6 pot'rs Cosworth Ultima Estate and 24v Senator. Both had incredible power, the Cosworth at times literally took your breath away. I have to say in all honesty I don't really miss the brute power nor the frequent visits to the petrol pump. I do miss the lovely sound 6 cylinders make especially the Senator being a straight 6. Come to think of it my 4.2 Range Rover was rather nice too. :)

all i wish, that they did a bigger diesel engine in the galaxy. a 1.9TDI is the only size they do! would love a 2.8 TDI
