I just made a purchase of my first ever galaxy.

Its a glx 97 model - seven seater with 78k on the clock. Looking on here I got it at a good price aswell.

I just wondered if anyone was kind enough to tell me what sort of things to look out for that usually go wrong with them.

Help us narrow the faults down by filling in the vehicle details? TDI, spec etc then we can give you a rough idea of what goes wrong in reguards to your vehicle :D

The car is a white P reg 1997 model 2 litre.

 

Specs are as a GLX.

your new car is 9 years old so things break like

c/l

electric windows [drivers side a faverate]

water in foot well

a/c

wiper linkages

shed loads of plastics [ speaker grills a good one there]

do you wish me to carry on and make you suicidal or tell you that no matter what may or not break its a very good car and if you get stuck apart from a few smart ass replies that you will get which are ment in good humour we are hope fully here to help each other :blink:
