Masked Marauder Posted December 14, 2005 Report Posted December 14, 2005 Well mine runs fine with the original Beru glow plug. No smoke either. Quote
Jeff115 Posted December 14, 2005 Report Posted December 14, 2005 I'm happy for you and it's a good find and it's great to avoid paying stealer prices and do a DIY solution but I'd still like to know the difference ;) Regards,J. Quote
Masked Marauder Posted December 14, 2005 Report Posted December 14, 2005 Well mine is a 3Kw heater. Later versions are 5Kw, so that is nearly twice the fuel supply. Now that much could, I suppose, cool the glow plug. Quote
GSMGuy Posted December 14, 2005 Report Posted December 14, 2005 MM, IIRC, all the heaters are rated at 2 otputs, approx 2.8 and 5kw...... Mike Quote
Masked Marauder Posted December 15, 2005 Report Posted December 15, 2005 There are 3 different heaters with different maximum outputs, 3KW, 4KW and 5KW. The 3KW is what is fitted to earlier models, the 4KW is a petrol version and the 5KW is the most up to date version. All also have the capability to run at a little under half power. Quote
