ashypd51 Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 hi all. thnx to all for the respone to me previous sat nav post. ive finally managed to get hold of a vnr 9000 sat nav. gone straight into the slot vacated by the 5000 rds head unit - using existing connectors. works great. unfortunately one of the kids has managed to pull off and lose the 'enter' button/disk thingy on the right hand side of the unit.rang frauds they didnt supply any spares and told me that i would have to buy a complete new unit.ive tried to email visteon (company who make the vnr 9000 but have no reply as yet.any one know of where i can get hold of this button, or of anyone who sells spares for the vnr 9000.i believe fraud also fit these units into the mondeo. regrds..... ashy. ps. anyone know how to enable tmc. ive been told that the map cd has to be enabled and that an extra ariel is also required. thnx. steve67car Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 activate the clock and tune one preset to classic fm as thats what tmc is transmited onand no one does spares as vistreon only repair and are not a spares company that is their OFFICAL policyi have been there with them and spent many a hour on the phone to themregards stevep.s do a test drive in a mondeo and get a free button :( Quote
