Guest vr6galaxy Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 Anyone know whats up ???? Paul Easy way to find out whats up is to stand up straight, now tilt you head back as far back as it will go without you falling over, now make a fist, uncurl your index finger and keep it extended out , now lift your arm up and use the finger to point where your looking, and that direction your pointing at is UP :( now can you work out what is down or do you need help? :P Quote
paulmpaciorek Posted December 7, 2005 Author Report Posted December 7, 2005 .....I might have guessed that was coming !!!! :( Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 From what I can gather certain things have to be powered up for them to give the correct reading via VAG com, this could mean that the engine has to be running or the heater controls set to a certain position so that a flap/servo gives the correct message, try again but this time adjusting the air flow direction switch on the CC panel, this will cause the flap/servo to move and hopefully give another message :( let us know how you get on :P Quote

Paul Yep, the front air distribution flap motor is open circuit or shorted. :( Quote
dave_m Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 I also get this code from VAG COM i have also noticed if i switch the heater controls to the "thaw my feet out setting" this does not work properly and air does not seem to come out from the footwell vents. So I assume this is what the error code relates to in my case :( Quote
paulmpaciorek Posted December 8, 2005 Author Report Posted December 8, 2005 .....so now we have all the "intelligent" replies out of the way  ......what do I need to do or where do I look for the cause ?? Quote
Guest FlyingDutchMan Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 Best thing i can add is that 'Klimabetaetigung 0303' is German for 'operating airconditioning'FDM Quote
