Guest galaxysam Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 Hi my trip meter will not reset and am getting the IN02 message on start up, have tried the service reset procedure and that made no difference, read that I may need the bonnet up so tried that but to be honest I cant see a bonnet switch anyway, should I have one (96 2.8 ghia) If its got the service message up does it stop the trip from resetting ?? bigdaddy Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 I had the same problem ,,,,I keeped the bonnet up for 15 mins,,,,then I tried again,,,,and it worked,,, :o Quote
Guest galaxysam Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 Will give that a whirl then, thing that bothers me is a cannot find a bonnet switch, can find a plug and a bonnet switch shaped hole on the passenger side bonnet hinge, odd thing is there is like a dummy plug that you can push the plug into Quote
bigdaddy Posted November 29, 2005 Report Posted November 29, 2005 Mine is like that as well,,,,except the plug has been put in the dummy plug thing,,,,,I believe this is for the alarm system,,,if fitted,,,,seen posts on here before about a thing that fits that hinge looks like a candle snuffer Quote
