Just changed cam belt on 1.9 diesel PD engine. Followed TIS guide to the letter. However I have just taken car for a run and the engine is lacking in 'top end'. Could this be down to camshaft pulley being in slightly different position after slackening bolts prior to fitting new timing belt? If so am I likely to succeed in sorting problem by slackening bolts and moving camshaft pulley slightly? Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
