My 2002 Galxay has its "check brakes" light flashing up.

last brake pads i changed was 14 yrs ago on my capri! could this be a simple DIY job or have things got more complex since i last saw a brake pad!

Not much more complex, but ABS means you have to clamp off the brake pipe and open the bleed nipple when you wind the calipers back in.

Not to bad a job with the help of this usefull site, just do a little bit of searching and you will find all the answers here

Just spent 4 hours on Sunday changing disks and pads all round, and as i said with the help of the many posts from the good people here it was fairly easy to do (just a B*****d to undo the bolts on the front to change the disks.

May i take the time to thank those who post all the usefull info here.

Lots of people have and why risk shoving any debris from the caliper / pistons / seals back up into the ABS system ?
