I've found these on e-bay:

ebay

Would someone be kind enough to let me know if these are the correct removal keys for the colour Sat Nav in the Galaxy (>2000 model).

If so, how do you use them - only I borrowed some like these the other day and I couldn't get the thing out - is there a special way of using them?

Thanks in advance.

hi i would buy the keys from vw, you get 4 for around 8 quid, they work great, on their keys there is a pointy bit, that points out but you do need all 4 engaged to get it out

cheers

Please help me, I am desperate to release my Sat Nav unit. Have made several attempts using the correct keys, also got the local car audio specialist to have a go, but we have all failed. Any top tips would be appreciated.

1) I have the standard RNS sat nav system but no multifunction wheel. It's a real bugger to keep reaching out for the volume control and the next track buttons (on the left of the unit).

Just wondering whether any one knows of an after market stalk add on for this. The RNS unit must support something because it is available on the multi function wheel.

2) Anyone with standard DVD multimedia - how far into the foot space of the middle 2nd row seat does the dvd housing stick out?

3) Has anyone fitted this housing afterwards - are all electrical connections available under the floor (eg additional power socket, dvd power etc)?

Thanks for any help offered.
