Power Steering Belt (diesel)

Hi

 

I've got an old belt and the power steering slips in the wet. I've got a new one from Halfords (Fraud didn't have one in Manchester - what a surprise). How tight should it be?

 

I've read this post:

and found I haven't got a

Bugger - I got the wrong on - it's too fffing big. :angry: The old one is 11.9 mm by 725 mm

 

 

Anyway, according to Halfords apparently the std adjustment is so there's 12.5mm play in the longest section.
