Guest rackets Posted November 7, 2005 Report Posted November 7, 2005 just wondering if you can help. the heater on my ford ka is only blowing cold air. ive checked the water and oil and they are ok.cyclinder head has not blown. Could it be an air block?
Guest vr6galaxy Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Most common cause of a lack of heat in the Ka is the heater valve failing  it's an electrically controlled valve that regulates the hot water flow through the heater matrix, it's located on the bulkhead between the wiper blade spindles, set the heater the warm and check that the valve is pulseing? if not check the fuse and the switch for voltage? if these are ok ? trhen it's time to replace the valve
