I've been buying SAT NAV and DVD Multimedia parts over the past 6 months to upgrade my Galaxy and Focus but i have to bite the bullet and say i dont have time to complete any these projects. Not to mention a prod in the back from the wife along the way to clear the utility room.

So rather than these units collect dust and never be used i am reluctantly going sell these parts on eBay.

Ford MFD Sat Nav Kit;

Ford MFD head unit

Code and UK MAP disk

Ford dual GPS/Mobile phone bee sting aerial

Ford CD changer cable (lead to the rear CD changer)

Power lead converter and various audio leads

Ford VNR9000 Sat Nav Kit;

Ford VNR9000 head unit

Code and UK Map disk (backup)

Ford GPS Aerial

(Please not this unit is sold as seen as i cant test it)

Ford Multimedia Components

2 x Ford Headrests with Monitors & Covers (still have original screen protectors on)

2 x Ford headphones

2 x Ford multimedia remote

Ford multimedia Guide

Ford DVD player in cradle with wirint loom to crossover unit

Ford multimedia crossover unit (plus spare) - audio and video amplifier

Ford audio panel, 12v and external AV input

Various leads and wire looms are still attached

(please note this was taken from a brand new crash damaged Galaxy and i was assured these were working)

I will take sensible offers from anybody in this forum over the ebay auction so first come first served. B) PM me if you would like pics.

Apologies to the moderator as this is a blatent for sale posting but i would perfer any of the guys or gals on this forum to take advantage of my colleciton over anybody on ebay. :D

Look through ebay for price guides, these kits are more comprehensive than anything you will find on ebay.

Pics will be uploaded when i figure out how to upload multiple pics on here, any help would be appreciated

I currently have a 2004 Galaxy with the DVD/screen stuff, but I would really like to find out what is involved with adding SAT/NAV to car, basically I want it to look like a factory-fit options, so which of the SATNAV units is normally fitted by Ford? Also how much am I looking at - and you would possibly know what else do I need to make it fit?

As far as i am aware the VNR9000 would fit into any older galaxy without any modification. The cabling in included with the MFD to retro fit any older galaxy as the connections are VW/Audi. The MFD "should" fit any new shape galaxy as they have the newer VW/AUDI connections but dont quote me on this, maybe somebody reading this could confirm this.

Have a look through the forums im sure all your questions can be answered easily.

How about a price for the whole lot then? Give us an idea?

To retro fit the Ford Sat Nav in mk2 you have to do the following;

Replace the complete centre fascia and all blanking plates and switches.

YES the fascia needs replacing as the SATNAV is about 20mm bigger than the 6000 RDS

Install a new wiring loom adaptor and GPS ariel (From Ebay)

And connect the speed sensor wire / gala (Purple Wire)

The MK2 DOESN'T have the VW/Audi Radio loom its the crap FORD one.

So you need an adaptor to convert that too.

Loom and GPS aerial supplied in this kit

Not sure if you have to replace the switches and blanking plates, as i have seen pictures of a dealer installed unit and there is no difference.

I have just done this retro fit and there is a difference in my mk2 galaxy

The double din hole was approx 20mm too small and the switches were a different shape. It may look the same but trust me its not.

The parts are available from the stealers for
