This all started with a flashing glow plug. Checked brake lights and they were not working. Removed the switch from the brake pedal and cleaned all the contacts and put it back together and yippee my high level brake light was working but no other brake lights. The glow plug has now stopped flashing. I have checked all the bulbs there ok. Can anyone help. I have also noticed that 2 of the high level bulbs have now stopped working. Thanks in advance ;)

Buy a new switch!!

Same happened to me - removed switch and got plunger working. Refitted and only high level brake light was working.

Don't waste any more of your valuable time- buy the switch and I am sure you will find like me that all works again.

Rubbish parts I'm afraid all trying to do several jobs at once.

I had the same problem last week, high level ok, normal lights dead. I changed the bulbs and all brake lights are now working, however since then I now have the flashing glow plug warning light coming on which is puzzling (the brake switch was changed a year ago so I can't see that being faulty already)

Mine failed and it was six months old. Check your brake lights!
