Guest j_mchattie Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 MAF It has a connector and wires attached - yet it makes no difference to the engine if i unplugg it or plug it in. This may be why my fault coder reader just stays illuminated during the wiggle test (see other post) The engine is 'bumpy' whist driving when cold - it seems to turn over ok, then just for a fraction of a second it will make a small nudge - and it does this every second or so. The MAF was changed 40,000 miles ago - perhaps the wiring is knackered. How can I check please? Thanks Quote
Guest j_mchattie Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 By the way - the car feels a bit down on power in the rain. It makes it a chore to drive, and i use noticeably more throttle when its wet. Quote
