If anyone in north west kent is considering or already using CD Bramalls Bexley I would think again. Had a service the other day when I got it home I was amazed to find that they had not replaced the pollen filter as is part of the service. Took it back next day to complain only to be told it look like a new filter fitted and that they are a grey dirty colour when new. After arguing for some time that it wasn't new, they ask the new technician if he had fitted it, only to reply he couldn't remember. After some time they eventually offered me a refund for the part and the labour cost but would still not admit they were at fault.Have now taken matter up wit local trading standards office and won't be taking my car back to Bramalls where I bought my car new.

On the odd time I use a garage mainly for service book stamping,I always mark all the serviceble things with a perm marker that way I can tell at a glance if they have been changed.

Hi

Took my gal in for a service at Bramalls in bexley early this year(JAN/FEB 05).Took the vehicle home (journey of about 2 miles) and left it on the drive overnight ,only to return in the morning and find 4 plus litres of engine oil spread all over the drive.Upon my own examination ,the oil filter had not been put on properly.Repaired it myself, but spoke to Managing Director,no arguments.Total refund, full service carried out again, and offer of professional services to clean drive.Though I got the right response, this is not my first experience of shabby service from this dealership.I now do my own servicing and have found an independent RELIABLE garage nearby.

Rosie.

P.S. 85,000 plus on the clock and going extremely well.Has got better since doing long trips on French Motorways.

I used CD Bramall (Citreon) in Mansfield when I had my Picasso (first MPV).

They were poor to say the least. A year or 2 on and thinking about the shoddy service I received from the service departmant I put it down to 2 things.

First, I bought the car new on the 1st March (02plate) and so, it seemed, did all Mansfield. This swamped the dealership and they were unable to do all the works they should have.

Secon, the dealership was multi-frachise so they had no specialists. They had fitter working on Citroen, Suzuki, Mazda and Nissan in the same workshop.

It all came to a head when I wanted the wheels tracking and they didn't have any tracking irons let alone modern tracking lasers.

Poor service, poor staff, no specialists BUT very very good sales with good deals all round.... suppose you can't have it both ways.
