Guest j_mchattie Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 Change your temperature sender. One of the Gal owners will tell you where it is, wont you guys? ...... guys? Quote
Masked Marauder Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 That sounds like a stuck open thermostat rather than a faulty sender. Quote
Guest j_mchattie Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 There you go 1310 - something else to do! MM knows what hes on about - so id do that. But if the system is drained anyway - take the opportunity to replace the sender, then you know its all going to work. Quote
1310 Posted October 15, 2005 Author Report Posted October 15, 2005 sorry guys i forgot to mention that the heater warms up straght away, not that i no what im talking about but would that still mean it could be the stat regards 1310 Quote
Guest marcusheawood Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 ...Don't worry about it, just drive it and wait for something to actually go wrong! :P Quote
Guest j_mchattie Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Just change the theromstat - its so cheap to do (and very very easy for the DIYer), and you will know that the temperature is being regulated properly. The internal heater might be electric before the water gets hot, which will mean you get instant heat - not sure, perhaps someone with a Gal can tell you. Change the thermo mind you. Quote
