Guest Simon S Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Thanks very much for the offer of the wiring diagram  Just out of interest I have noticed that you have an auto 2.3 - what sort of fuel consumption do you get? Mine is a manual and gives fairly consistent 28 to the gallon even about town. The Carina I had previously dropped to about 25 around town but did 35 on a run. I considered the an auto 2.8 but decided that I was making the bank manager happy enough by borrowing the money to pay for the car without having to take a mortgage for the fuel! :D Quote
Guest Simon S Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Just another quick thought - will I need to fit spring assisters do you reckon? They are lying around in the garage and if they will bring any benefit I am happy to fit them, but if they are not needed I won't bother wasting my time. Have been to towquip and am waiting reply on which relay is the correct one - thanks v much johnb Quote

NikNak Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 Hi all, Can this 'elusive' plug still be found on a '03 Gal..? We also looking to get a trailer tent, but am quivering in my boots by not only the cost of buying the tent, but also the cost of the towbar/electrics/fitting.......! Any offers of advice and help will be much appreciated. Nick. Quote

AndeeeH Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Hi Nick, further to yesterday's post; It might pay you to visit Towsure in Southampton. They are on Hawkeswood Rd., Northam Bridge. 02380339980. They have a good reputation for their towbars and fitting service. :) Andy. Quote
