steve67car Posted November 29, 2005 Report Posted November 29, 2005 :) nearly a 50/50 split but not saying which way i changed a lot on my old mk1 but it was a $hit pit when i got it but all in all had it a year paid 1800 spent about a grand on it sold it for 2350 kept the wheels sold them for 250 so lost 2-300 in a year lovely :) got a 02 51 plate shazza 43k and its had a new egr valve already so not that impressed with the mk2 even for that i would say i would have another one but this time a tdi auto and have it chipped but thats a couple off 3 years away all being good :lol: Quote
ridway Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Im really pleased with my Galaxy, it is a petrol, the only critisism I have because it is thirsty. Having now owned it for 45k, it has now done 100k, the only problems have been seized wiper spindles, a pipe that came off the cruise control vacuum pump and a leaky pipe on the thermostat housing; all easily fixed.
