I have a W 2000 2.3 Gear X Auto.The problem i have is that when i put my foot down to over take she goes like a rocket but when i go to pull away from the next junction she wont change up a gear until the revs counter hits about 4-5000 revs.When i turn the engine off and on again its fine???? Justice Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 First port of call, I would check the levels in the gearbox but it is more likley that the ECM (electronic control module located by the battery) which is called Fuzzy logic and that tells the gearbox you are in sport mode but it seems as if it is not changing back for normal driving conditions. Justice Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 The ecu is the box with the multi plug on it bolted on the inside wing next to the battery.have'nt found the other yest will keep looking the book says it could be faulty ajustment on the selector rods. Quote
