Towbar Wiring

Hi, I have installed a towbar which came with a plug in wiring kit. I have installed the wiring kit as per the instructions - you can't go wrong with the plug in kit. However when the trailer is attached the rear indicators do not work (on car and trailer), and the front ones flash twice as quick.

The only wire I did not connect was the 'constant plus' which I thought was only required for if you were towing a caravan with a fridge etc.

Does anyone know if the constant plus wire (which is a constant live to the battery) needs to be connected to fix the indicator problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

yup sure does i fitted single electrics to mine and a direct fused feed had to go to battery i guess because the hazzards have to work with the ignition off.
