Guest Marc90125 Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 The ABS light won't go out after stating up as normal, ABS definitely not working, tried it in a deserted car park; wheels locked up beautifully. I Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 Not necessarily; depends on what it is. Could just be a wheel rotation sensor on the way out, or a dirty connection somewhere.Should be possible for a dealer or possibly an independent to interrogate the ABS system for fault codes. Quote

Ivor_E_Tower Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 Most alerts can be reset by disconnecting the battery or pulling the right fuse.Could be worth unplugging and replugging in all the wheel sensor leads/connections, then pulling the fuse and see if the light stays out...Fingers crossed for you.Ivor Quote
